Stepping-up Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Intercultural Competences for High Quality Teaching in Ukraine.

Project goals and objectives

Wider goal: Improve the competencies of teachers and trainers in Ukrainian higher education institutions and VET related institutions to enhance global entrepreneurial capacities and creativity of future students by (1) developing a teacher training program using game-based and collaborative learning methodologies and (2) creating open micro-certified short learning programs in order to better match labour market needs and to improve the level of competences, skills, employability potential and global entrepreneurial spirit of HEI students and the general public (vocational education)

Specific objectives

  • Enhance the teaching, assessment mechanisms for HEI staff and students, quality assurance, management, governance, inclusion, innovation, knowledge base, digital and entrepreneurial capacities based on gamification methodologies and collaborative learning, as well as the internationalisation of HEIs in the third countries not associated to the Programme;
  • Improve the level of entrepreneurship, innovation, creativity and intercultural competences, skills and employability potential of students of all disciplines and study cycles in Ukrainian HEIs and in the interested general public (vocational education);
  • Promote inclusive education, equality, equity and non-discrimination in Ukrainian higher education;
  • Ensure sustainability by guaranteeing institutional ownership and open access of the CBHE results.

  • UA Test training in creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship for HEI staff;
  • UA Test training in global competences for HEI staff;
  • UA Test training in how to create gamified MOOCs;
  • UA Test training in global entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity for HEI students;
  • UA Test training in global entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity for general public (VET students) ;
  • UA MOOC test training in global entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity for HEI students;
  • UA MOOC test training in global entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity for general public (VET students);
  • Development of a software to manage and micro-certify gamified MOOCs and, to manage and certify two competence assessment tools;
  • Preparation of Gamified microcertifiable MOOCs and competence assessment tools;
  • QA activities;
  • Dissemination and sharing of project results.

Expected results

  • 6 newly created and equipped Creativity Hubs with trainers fully trained.
  • A framework for global competences
  • An interactive, inclusive learning OPENSOURCE SOFTWARE
  • A modular MOOC, based on a gamification framework, micro-certifiable, allowing to create “a la carte trainings” including different competences and levels of mastery of the competences of both the European Competence Framework Entrecomp and the Global Competence Framework
  • An introductory MOOC to teach how to create and publish MOOCs based on a gamification framework with the OPENSOURCE SOFTWARE
  • An assessment tool testing the user ́s level of innovation, creativity entrepreneurship and global competences
  • A project webpage to publish project ́s results
  • A website to publish the project’s MOOCs and competence assessment tools, open to any interested institution to publish its MOOC offer
  • 3 POLICY REPORTS:
    • Recommendation for the establishment of a European Global Competences Framework (Year 1).
    • Recommendation for the update of the European EntreComp Framework (Year 2)
    • Recommendation for the adoption of micro-certifications for training pathways or competence assessment (Year 3) A collaborative OPEN ACCESS book in which all project participants will be able to contribute a chapter in the form of a research result or feedback of experience.
