On 6–7 November 2025, the UA Talent-UP consortium held its second Transnational Meeting at the University of Cyprus (UCY) in Nicosia. Gathering partners from Cyprus, Ukraine, Belgium and Spain, the meeting offered a valuable opportunity to work face-to-face, align progress, and strengthen the shared vision of the project. After months of online collaboration, coming together on site enabled deeper conversations, hands-on workshops, and the chance to refine the next steps of our joint work.
The programme of the two-day meeting was intensive and productive. Hosted in the Stelios Ioannou Learning Resource Center (what a woderfoul place!!) , the first day opened intense, with two technical workshops focused on the state of the art of the MOOC platform, user training, and the evaluation of platform features and content.

Later, partners engaged in an open discussion on how to promote the MOOCs among students across different institutional contexts, sharing good practices and early insights from their universities. The afternoon was dedicated to a collaborative session on the next steps for the project’ and the open-access book, one of UA Talent-UP’s key intellectual outputs (more information and call for papers comming soon!).
Beyond the working sessions, partners also had the opportunity to explore the city during a walking tour and share a memorable social dinner at a traditional Cypriot tavern. We are especially grateful for the warm hospitality and for the flavours of Cyprus that accompanied the evening. Just as special was the gesture from our Ukrainian partners, who shared homemade delicacies—wine and sweets—that reminded us of the cultural richness and human dimension behind our collaboration.

The second day continued with a session led by Ukrainian partners on creativity hubs and the implementation plan for UA entrepreneurship trainings. The morning concluded with a dissemination activity where project outcomes were presented to the local community. A highlight of this transnational meeting was the opportunity to interact with UCY students and introduce them to the entrepreneurship-oriented materials being developed within UA Talent-UP. Through an engaging session on global competences and innovation methodologies, students explored how serious-play approaches—such as LEGO® Serious Play®—can foster creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Their participation added fresh perspectives and reinforced the project’s commitment not only to designing tools, but also to testing them with young learners.

The Nicosia meeting marked a significant step forward for UA Talent-UP. After the burocratic challenges that we did face during last school year, by working closely, exchanging knowledge and sharing cultures, the consortium continues to build a strong foundation for supporting entrepreneurship education and global competences in Ukraine and Europe. We look forward to the next stages of the journey and the opportunity to share with a broader public the results of this valuable project.
