The University of Cyprus (UCY) is tasked with developing open-source software for the deployment, management, assessment, and micro-certification of MOOC courses, built around a gamification framework. Additionally, UCY will create tools for assessing and micro-certifying skills in entrepreneurship, innovation, and global competences. The university will also produce a comprehensive report and contribute to the dissemination of results through an open-access publication and a policy report.
The University of Cyprus leads Work Package 4, focusing on the design and development of a gamified MOOC platform. Our team is responsible for creating an engaging, interactive learning environment that integrates gamification principles to enhance user experience and learning outcomes. In addition to the technical implementation, we contribute to shaping the pedagogical structure of the course, ensuring it effectively fosters global competences. This work supports the broader project goals by providing an innovative and scalable tool for education and skills development.
